Beginning Teen/Adult Tap

Heather Closson is a choreographer, performer, and dance educator. In addition to her B.S. in Dance Performance from Ball State University, Heather has studied at Broadway Dance Center, EDGE Performing Arts Center, Fort Wayne Ballet, and Northeast School of Dance. She has worked for and studied at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and the American Dance Festival, training professionally in dance and technical theatre. Heather is proud to be a fourth-year company member of dAnce.Kontemporary. Locally, her choreography has appeared in the Philharmonic’s “Holiday Pops” and “Spooktacular!” performances, the Fort Wayne Fringe Festival, and on the stages of several community theaters. For the FWDC, Heather has choreographed for “Lovestruck,” “Fragmented Clarity,” the Choreographer’s Lab, and two Halloween shows.
