Like so many other non-profits in our community, it’s time for our end-of-year Annual Giving Campaign. Starting with our 35th Anniversary party and going through December 31st we do our best to help you see why it’s important to give back to the Dance Collective.
Out of all of the arts; dance is the art form that the least amount of people seem to relate to. However, as we preach everyday, it’s not about “dance” per se. It’s about movement. It’s about harnessing your energy to make yourself well. It’s about creativity in all of its forms and how this moves you. Students at South Side feel it, students at Children’s Autism Center feel it, patients at Parkview feel it, and we hope you feel it too.
This year, along with other non-profits, we are celebrating #GivingTuesday on December 3rd. As you’ll see in the video, this is a chance for you to help us reach our goals in a very concrete way. Our goal for #GivingTuesday this year is to get 35 donations from 35 NEW donors.
So if you’ve considered giving to the Fort Wayne Dance Collective but just haven’t had the chance, or if you have just found FWDC this year and have been moved by the many people that we are reaching in the community, send a donation, in whatever size, our way. This year, don’t forget FWDC on your Christmas giving list.
