Hannah was introduced to dance by Brittney Coughlin through Fort Wayne Dance Collective’s Weisser Park outreach program in 2008 and began training onsite in the spring of 2010 with Liz Monnier and Alison Gerardot. In 2013, Hannah demonstrated a desire to further her technique and sought instruction at Project Ballet, formerly New American Youth Ballet, under the direction of Beth McLeish. In addition to strengthening her classical technique, she continued training under Kate Majorins and Ashley Benninghoff at FWDC. Upon graduating from the Academic Conservatory at Project Ballet in May 2018, Hannah joined the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College.

After a brief time in New York, Hannah returned home to refocus her energy on teaching. Hannah prides herself in being a core member of the ballet faculty at Project Ballet, as well as their primary contemporary instructor and resident personal trainer. In 2019, Hannah began teaching outreach at New Haven Intermediate school for the Fort Wayne Dance Collective. In 2020, Hannah completed Fusion Yoga’s 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training and in 2021, Hannah was recognized as a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition to these titles, Hannah is a Certified Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor. Hannah holds immense appreciation for the body and has devoted herself to finding mindfulness through movement that is cathartic, intentional, and nourishing.

Hannah teaches Theatre Jazz on Wednesday evenings. Occasionally, Hannah can be found onstage alongside the Fort Wayne Dance Collective’s Touring Company. Hannah is humbled to be an artistic faculty member among her former instructors at Project Ballet and the Dance Collective alike. Her passion for movement–in its myriad forms–is evident and her love for her students is clear. Outside the studio, Hannah enjoys running, travelling with her boyfriend, Jacob, spending time with her family, and loving on her two cats, Clancy and Oby.
