About the workshop: This ballet class is geared towards any student wishing to understand how to meld together the basics into a series of more demanding combinations. Under the guidance of a proven syllabus developed by the late Marcia Dale Weary of CPYB, Mr. Grant is able to get students to have more self awareness and confidence in their ballet technique.

About the teaching artist: Kevin Grant began his training at Fort Wayne Ballet, and continued through various programs including Butler University, The Rock School for Dance, Ballet Austin, & Milwaukee Ballet. From 2007-2017, Grant served as a faculty member and Assistant Artistic Director of Project Ballet. Students he’s helped to train have danced or are dancing with New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Austin, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Charlotte Ballet, and more. His students have also attended top ballet programs including School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, etc. His current and former students have also been awarded top placements at YAGP, NYCDA, and many other conventions and competitions.
