About the workshop: This class will increase strength, artistry, and technical ability through contemporary dance choreography. Students will be led through movement that touches on many genres of dance, blending elements of ballet, modern, and jazz. Open to teens and adults of all levels.

About the teaching artist: This is Britney’s 11th year at Homestead High School. She is the head of the in-curriculum dance program, head coach of the dance team, and co-director of SACS dance. Britney has been spending a lot of time sharing her passion with people throughout the community. She has recently choreographed American Idiot, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, and Rent for IMTF productions and is enjoying her time working with the special needs dance team at Homestead. Lately, Britney has been putting more time into outside contracts and enjoys teaching master classes and doing choreography for all avenues of dance.
