About the workshop: Grab your heels and feel flawless! Join Teresa for an empowering dance class that promotes self-confidence and body positivity through combinations of jazz, contemporary, and hip hop genres set to popular music. Dancers are encouraged, but not required, to wear high heels during class. Open to teens and adults of all levels.

About the teaching artist: Meet Teresa Piper, one of the many talented instructors here at FWDC. Teresa has been dancing since she was 6 years old and has been an instructor for 9 years. She has choreographed for the North Side High School Dance Program, Talladega College Crimsonettes, Fort Wayne Pride, Boss Lady Dance Company, and SheeKriStyle Academy of Dance in the genres of Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, and Majorette. Teresa has found a second home at Dance Worx as a Hip Hop instructor. She enjoys working with her dance family any time she is not loving her preschool students or her two boys at home.
