About the workshop: Develop your tap technique with a focus on speed, transitions, and style. Students will learn original choreography that will allow them to refine their footwork and explore dynamics within the music. This class is recommended for teens and adults with 1+ years of tap dance experience.

About the teaching artist: Nikki has been a professional choreographer for over 20 years. She has choreographed at amusement parks and has won 8 international choreography awards for her work. She choreographs for NBA halftime shows, America’s Got Talent finalists, The MOTHMEN, recording artist, Chaz Robinson, On the Fly Entertainment, studios, dance teams, show choirs, and pageants. She is a dance convention teacher and judges for a number of different companies. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance from Ball State University and is an Acro Arts certified instructor. As a professional performer, she danced on Carnival Cruise Lines, Legends In Concert, the Isle of Capri Casinos, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, the Carousel Dinner Theatre, Cedar Point, a featured tap dancer with the Duke Ellington Orchestra NYC, the Elvis Birthday Tribute Tour, The Magic of Tim Hill, and many others.
