Jamaris “J. Tubbs” Tubbs is a multidisciplinary creative professional and entrepreneur based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with over a decade of experience across music, event production, visual media, and community-centered programming. He is the owner of YM3 Music Group LLC and has been active in the local arts and entertainment scene since 2015 as a DJ, music artist, producer, photographer, videographer, and event curator.
Through his work, Jamaris has collaborated with a wide range of local venues, small businesses, visual and music artists, and cultural organizations, helping develop inclusive events, live performances, and branded experiences that bring people together. His approach blends creative vision with logistical execution — from concept development and promotions, to on-site production and audience engagement.
Jamaris is passionate about the arts accessibility, youth engagement, and building sustainable creative ecosystems in Fort Wayne and beyond. He brings to the Board a strong understanding of grassroots community outreach, marketing strategy, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, along with a deep appreciation for the role dance and movement plays in cultural expression, wellness, identity, and connection. As a Board Member of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective, Jamaris is committed to supporting the organization’s mission through thoughtful leadership, authenticity, creative insight, and a community-first mindset.
