Footloose Audition Workshop

This workshop will be facilitated by the director, Gavin Thomas Drew, and choreographers, Mandie Kolkman and Theo Thompson.

Get ready to cut loose and show us your moves! Join us for an inclusive audition workshop for a Universally Designed production of the musical, Footloose. This will be a vibrant, high-energy show that celebrates individuality, expression, and the power of community.

This workshop is open to performers of all abilities, age, size, and gender. Whether you’re new to the stage or a seasoned performer, this is a space where everyone’s voice, movement, and creative expression are valued and supported. This free workshop will provide an overview of the audition process, offer tools for success, and introduce the production’s commitment to accessibility and inclusive storytelling. Participants are invited to bring comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes to move and dance in and should be prepared to participate in some readings from the script that will be used in callbacks and auditions.
