Macie Wilson has a lifelong connection to Fort Wayne Dance Collective. She took FWDC classes for most of her childhood, and was a member of the teen pre-professional group, Pineapple Dance Project, for six years. She is now a part of FWDC’s Professional Performance Ensemble. In addition to her work as an Arts Administrative Intern, Macie is an instructor at the on-site school, and occasionally at outreach locations. In 2022 she received FWDC’s O. Frank Kenworthy award, and in 2024 she was nominated for an Arts United Award (Emerging Artist of the Year). As an Arts Administrative Assistant, Macie brings her passion for dance, and her experience as a choreographer and teacher to support FWDC’s mission and operations.
