OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Allison Ballard worked as FWDC’s first Development Director from 1992-1999, and founded Fort Wayne Taiko as a program of the Fort Wayne Dance Collective. She has a Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy (Columbia College Chicago 2003) and has over 30 years of experience teaching creative movement and rhythm to children, youth, adults and people with special needs. Since 1999, she has worked as an independently contracted grant proposal writer serving non-profits in the greater Fort Wayne community. Since 2008, she has worked as the Director of the University of Saint Francis Jesters, an intergenerational, interdisciplinary performing arts program for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. In 2021, she began working as a Behavior Consultant with Booth and Company.
